TORONTO- August 9, 2017 – A year after a successful debut in Atlantic Canada, HelpMeOrder announced today their official launch into Canada’s culinary capital. The free dish ratings app is now available for iPhone and Android devices. The HelpMeOrder app helps indecisive foodies choose an incredible dish every time and allows them to share dish recommendations and reviews with their friends and the local community
“There are so many great foodie apps out there, but they’re mostly focused on overall restaurant reviews,” said Mina Michail, co-founder of HelpMeOrder. “You have to scroll through pages and pages of reviews to get a sense of what’s good. I always had such a hard time deciding”.
The way it works is simple. You create an account using your Facebook profile or email address, and immediately HelpMeOrder curates a feed of mouth-watering meal recommendations given by your Facebook friends or local food experts in your area. You then have the option to like, comment or add a dish to “Gotta Try” – a bucket list of foods to try for yourself. To earn status as a HelpMeOrder insider, foodies vie to add incredible photographs, well written reviews and to vote for their favorite dish at each restaurant they go to. The app automatically keeps score of your Favorites, Gotta Trys and Gems you’ve discovered.
HelpMeOrder soft launched last summer in St. John’s, NL and has already gained traction with the foodie community. The app boasts more than 250,000 dishes in restaurants across Canada and the United States.
